It never fails that when I see various scientific experiments being done, especially ones that are close to the plots of science fiction films, something lingering in the back of my mind wants to yell out “NO!!!! Haven’t you seen X”. This is of course with “X” being a stand in for things like 28 days later, Planet of the Apes, Threads, Terminator etc. I know it’s illogical, but I don’t want to be the guy reminding everyone that the giant “hellmouth” opening in New York could have been avoided if these guys ever played Doom 2.
